Antique American hand embroidered sampler cushion. The word 'WELCOME' is cross stitched in lilac across a fireside rug. The fire is lit, the clock on the mantlepiece says 9 o'clock and a dog and cat sit beneath. The piece is worked on white linen which is mounted onto vintage French linen with red ric-rac. It is backed with the same linen and finished with red piping.
The cover has an envelope opening for easy removal, is hand washable and comes complete with a quality feather pad.
