Antique hand embroidered American sampler cushion. The classic words 'MAN'S WORK ENDS WITH THE SETTING SUN BUT A WOMAN'S WORK IS NEVER DONE' are worked in cross stitch onto white cotton. All the woman's work surrounds - washing, ironing, cooking, cleaning and babies. The cushion is backed with vintage French linen and is finished with blue piping.
The cover has an envelope opening for easy removal, is hand washable and comes complete with a quality feather pad.
