Antique American hand embroidered sampler cushion. The words 'HOME THE PLACE WHERE WE GRUMBLE THE MOST AND ARE TREATED THE BEST' are cross stitched in red and brown on natural linen. A bowl of fruit, saucepan, bottle and glass are embroidered beneath. The piece is mounted onto vintage French linen with red ric-rac, is backed with the same linen and finished with red piping.
The cover has an envelope opening for easy removal, is hand washable and comes complete with a quality feather pad.
