A beautiful example of English hand-embroidery from the 1940's. This handmade cushion shows the classic Crinoline Lady with her bunch of flowers standing next to a flowering tree. It is worked on natural linen and backed with antique French linen and finished with a narrow bright pink cotton brush fringe.
